The Wellness Community
The Wellness Community (TWC) was founded in 1987 and is part of an international nonprofit organization with twenty-two U.S. facilities, and several more in development. The Wellness Community is dedicated to providing free support, education and hope to people with cancer and their loved ones. Through the Patient Active Concept and participation in professionally led support groups exercise and mind body programs, people affected by cancer learn vital skills that enable them to regain control, reduce isolation and restore hope regardless of the stage of their disease.
